New Project Car

Isn't this car cute. Hubby found another COOL deal he just couldn't pass up. This is a 1953 Chevy 2-door Sedan. It's not in great condition--as a matter of fact it doesn't even run yet, but my hubby has an amazing God-given talent in this area.

Well, we head of to our County Fair very early tomorrow Morning. And I need to go to bed. Blessings all!

Wild Life Safari

On our way to my family reunion, we took the girls to the WildLife Safari. We love it there. These were our favorite animals. It was a perfect day, and not too many people. The only thing we missed was the Lions--which are my favorite.

Isn't she just beautiful, look at those eyes!!!!!
The bears were fun too, but we had to keep our windows up thru their cages.

Other than that, life is beautiful. We are busy doing the summer thing, I have been spending time getting my homeschooling together and ready to start here in a few weeks.

Been reading a Francine Rivers novel (my fav. Author) it is called "Redeeming Love". I have been weeding around the yard, oh and laundy, laundry, and more laundry!!!!

What have you all been uo too? Let me know!!! Blessings

FINALLY--family reunion pictures

I finally got my pitures from this trip. ENJoy!!!!

Here I am washing the fish my dad and brothers caught that day. We had a huge fish-fry the night me and hubby and girls arrived.
These 2 boys are my baby brothers--they are the 2 youngest at 22 & 25. I have 8 brothers all together.
This is my neice (with the glasses) and my 11 yr old daughter on the 4th of July And this is my side of the family. Granny is 80, so for her birthday, we entered a float in the $th of July parade. So, on the float you see 5 generations. Starting with Granny, then, mom, her siblings (driving the truck) then me and my siblings, our families, our cousins, their families, etc.
The float was full. But alot of fun too!!!!!!
I am in the blak T-shirt, with the sun glasses, the two kids with red t-shirts are 2 of my daughters.

My oldest daughter is in the black and white hoody and daugher #2 is in the red t-shirt,sitting next to her aunt with the sign (waving)
And here is Granny---she took 1st plae for the float!!! Doesn't she look happy!!!

A beautiful start

Well, we are well into SUMMER here, finally. We went to a 4 generation Family Reunion. In Southern Oregon for a week. My step-mothers' side of the family. My dad, step-mother, 5 brothers and me, and our families were their, as well as the other aunts and uncles. We had a great time, although I had to do most of the child-care and meal prep with the older women. I am the oldest, so it seems that that job always falls to me. My brothers' and their wifes always dissappear.
Let me put it this way---when we leave from my family--say the goodbyes--oh I love them, very much---but VERY happy the Lord chose me. I realize how blessed I am, that God takes care of me and my hubby and girls.
There was drinking every night, all night, thank God we brought our motorhome, we could escape it each night. Our 4th of July was beautiful. We loaded our Granny on her 80th birthday float, all the Grandkids and Great-Grandkids surrounded her. It was awesome, the float had at least 40 of us on it. And we took the 1st place trophy!!
I am home now, the wedding is all done. Wow, was it ever the task, but I loved it, and so did the bride. I will upload photos as soon as I get me camera hooked up.
Well, back to everyday life around here, and trying to get next years' homeschooling pulled together. Blessings to everyone.
